TGA membership entitles you to:
- Attend, speak and vote at the Annual General Meeting.
- Attend all talks, practical sessions and social occasions.
- Bring non-members to group meetings for which a small charge will be levied - please note that attendance at life classes is limited to full members only.
- Submit ORIGINAL works for selection for the annual summer exhibition - art works can have been exhibited in other venues prior to the annual summer exhibition. Artwork shown at the TGA annual summer exhibition may only be resubmitted after an interval of three years - this ruling does not apply to other TGA exhibitions.
During their first summer exhibition, all new members (or new exhibitors) are able to nominate one of their framed art works for inclusion in our ‘new exhibitors’ section. Visitors to the exhibition are encouraged to ‘vote’ for their favourite new members work. The new exhibitor with most ‘votes’ is awarded the Nicols Trophy during the enrolment evening.
